Home > Bhagwat Geeta
The Bhagavad Gita is an epic scripture that has the answers to all of our problems. When a confused Arjuna sought advice from Lord Krishna at Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna expressed some sensible philosophical views that are still valid today. The Bhagavad-gita is also known as the Gitopanishad. It is the foundation of all Vedic knowledge and one of the most important Upanishads in Vedic literature. Sri Krishna imparted it to Arjuna in the battlefield. Arjuna was a warrior prince, a hero, who was plagued by uncertainties after having to fight his own cousins for his rights. Krishna instructed Arjuna to perform his duties as a combatant on the battlefield. He taught him about his true nature.
