Brihaspati Udyapan Puja is performed on 17th Thursday. Lord Vishnu is the main deity for this Vrat Udyapan Puja. Performing this Vrath for 16 Thursdays and doing udyapan on 17th thursday helps one attain happy life and marital happiness.
Brihaspati Udyapan is performed by doing Gauri, ganesh, kalash, Navgraha puja. Sarvatobhadra puja, Vishnu avahan and prana pratistha is performed. Abhishek is done to Vishnuji pratima, katha shravanam is done, Water is poured to banana plant and Havan is performed. Later daan Dakshina is given to the Brahmins who are invited to perform the Udyapan Puja.
Brihaspati Udyapan is performed on 17th Thursday.
